Wayne Linton is an Australian psychotherapist, leadership coach, speaker, and author. He works with business leaders and also runs programs such as the Beyond Incredible Group Program to help people become better leaders around the world.
Before this, Wayne Linton used to play professional Australian rules football with Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1974 to 1978. For many years, he has worked on helping senior leaders and CEOs in countries like Australia, China, the United States, Europe, and Asia to understand themselves better and improve how they lead others at work.

Later, in his 60s, Linton entered into a professional collaboration with Steve Tappin, CEO of Beyond Unity, which introduced his coaching approach to a wider, international audience. In 2017, he took part in the Global Women of Inspiration event in Maui, Hawaii, where he worked alongside a diverse group of leaders, including participants from China, the UK, and the USA. Following that, he contributed to several international forums and developed the Beyond Incredible Group Program (BIG), a structured coaching initiative designed for collective growth and reflection among leadership teams.
Football Career
Between 1974 and 1978, Wayne Linton played as a wingman for Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League (VFL), appearing in 65 games and scoring 17 goals. His years in professional sport formed the early foundation for qualities such as discipline, focus, and adaptability attributes that would later shape his work beyond the field.
Publications and Programs
In 2021, Linton co-authored The Awareness Code with Steve Tappin a work exploring the role of self-awareness in leadership.
